Do We Need Laws?

Laws protect our general safety and ensure our rights as citizens against abuses. Our general safety can be provided by the laws that we have. Laws about food safety are included in these at the local, state and national level.

What would happen if we didn’t have laws?

Laws are needed in all societies. Our society wouldn’t work properly if they didn’t do it. There wouldn’t be any laws, rules or regulations about the environment, traffic safety devices, or repair of streets and roads. The public wouldn’t be allowed to walk on the sidewalk.
